Well, I haven't played XBox, but I'm guessing Playstation is better overall... better games. I've heard from friends that XBox is crap.
Either way, consoles will never beat PC Games. You can't get the same resolution on a tv, you can't have the same customization, you can get add-ons or mods...Comment

Yeah right Xbox is dieing as i type this. Playstation 2 is the king of video games in. No one will even come close to playstation sells. Xbox is only good for chasing a rober out of your house when hes trying to steal your PSX2.

Lets not get on games for the PC. I love my PC and my games i have for it. But come on our best seller is some sim shit! yeah we can mod all we want but we don't got FF10 MGS2 GTA3 GT3 and lots more. PC needs to keep up with "the fun games" and not with the graphics!.

I got the XBOX...and lemme tell you HALO is the dopest game EVER! But, I had to send my first one back for repairs...it has flaws BUT its the fucking SHEEEEEIT! To the best of my knowledge, there will be a PC release of GTA3... and TH3, FFX, and many other console games.
You're right, the games are mostly different... no good fighting games on PC. But you're wrong about pc games... The Sims sucks ass, but you're making it out like that's all pc's have. What about shooters? RPG's? Strategy games? Console games aren't nearly as diverse... the only advantage consoles have is fighting games and arcade style games.

Halo would have been better if Microsoft and their monopolizing asses hadn't bought out the developers and made it an XBox game. If they had left it alone, you'd be able to play Halo with a higher resolution, and more importantly, MOUSELOOK.Comment

I have them all, GameCube is sweet. PS/2 is sweet.

I still think it could hardly be as easy to control and aim as with a mouse... unless it gives you a handicap like auto-aim... and if it does, that's lame when you compare it how it could have been on pc. Mario for the NES rocked. Zero Tolerence for the Genesis was also great... had several billion levels, lol. Snes rocks too... Street Fighter 2, James Pond, Lotus, Zool, Bart Vs. The Space Mutants and Dizzy for the Amiga were favorites of mine. Stampede for the Atari 2600... thats a classic!
As for newer games, Half Life is one of the best, and so is Max Payne... but I completed Max Payne within 2 days.

Halo kicks ass for X Xbox. I got a Sony Wega XBR the game is so sweet.
I would like to be able to play grand theft auto and grand tourismo and tony hawk 3 for PS2 though.
Playstation sold more systems during the holdiday season because they have 150 more games out then X Box has.
But next Christmas season I bet ya X Box takes over as #1

OK here's my 2 cents.
Playstion 2 has the most games and the best titles. The playstaion 2 capabilities are maxed out. xbox is at 8%.
1 st Generation playstaion are breaking down left and right.
Xboxes joysticks suck.
OK what system do you owe you ask?
SEGA dreamcast. GREAT games, AMAZING value and way underrated.
BUY one used try it out.

That's very true. Sega always has been underrated and they put out some of the best games out there AND were ALWAYS the first company out of the gate with a new system. I got a Dreamcast and LOVE IT. Soul Caliber is the best fucking fighting game that I've ever played.

Yeah I actually want to apologize for the moron statement...I woke up this morning with a Coors Light Headache and a "what Possessed me to say that" thought. I apologize. What I meant though about the mouse look is the fact that the xbox controller itself as closely mimmicks the mouse look model of game control as I've ever seen. The controller can be a bit unwieldy at first but once you get used to it...I think its the best example to date.

Well, I play a lot of 1st person shooters on the pc, and it's just a personal thing... you get used to being able to aim precisely using the mouse, and strafe using the keyboard (among the many other advantages that combo gives, like instantly switching to particular weapons), and it's hard to give it up. Fighting games, though, are a different story. I hope that one day pc's catch up, but right now, if you want to play a game like Soul Caliber, you have to have a console.Comment
