No, wait, he apologized.
John Kerry says he will never apologize...

Wonder why it took him so long to apologize? Couldn't he have done it yesterday? He was talking about Bush, who I guess he thinks didn't do well in school, with his degrees from Harvard and Yale? I'm sure CNN is scrambling to try to make it make sense.

Let me see if I can interpret his "apology." I am sorry you turds are so stupid and uneducated, that you didn't realize I was making a Joke about George Bush, the one who did not do well in school (Better Grades than Kerry), so he got us stuck in Iraq. See, I am sorry that you guys aren't very bright.

Less than 24 hours after his first comments is not "so long to apologize".
It's quicker than Bush took to come off vacation when the gulf coast was drowning

Yes, unfortunately Bush couldn't take over command from your Mayor and Governor until they relinquish it. You proud of them?
Don't get me wrong, I thought every level of Government screwed up after Katrina. Can't lay that one solely on Bush's doorstep. I hope a lesson was learned that the big machine ain't gonna save you when the shit hits the fan. Also, if a cat 5 is bearing down on you, and you live below sea level, get out if you can. If you can walk out when the water is up to your neck, you can walk out before the storm hits.Comment

If you make a claim, you need to back it up. I guess that is a new concept to you.
I love your examples, and your source. CBS News. The same guys that make up documents and pretend they are real. I bet you never heard about that story did you?

Here, you like war, after all, you are American, arent you ?
FlipFlop enough ????Winning the War on Terror
"I don't think you can win it," Mr. Bush said of the war on terror in August. In an interview on NBC's "Today" show, he said, ?I think you can create conditions so that . . . those who use terror as a tool are less acceptable in parts of the world."
Before the month closed, Mr. Bush reversed himself at the American Legion national convention in Nashville. He said: "We meet today in a time of war for our country, a war we did not start yet one that we will win." He later added, ?we are winning, and we will win."I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

News outlets ignored Bush flip-flop on oil reserves
Summary: In reporting on President Bush's announcement that he would suspend fuel deposits into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in an effort to reduce rising gasoline prices, numerous news outlets failed to note that Bush had previously criticized both the Clinton administration and Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) for proposing to use the reserve to lower prices.

Bush is staying the course. His course is victory in Iraq. He stopped using stay the course because the left was effective in convincing many people that we are losing the war. The tactics for war are fluid, and constantly must change for victory. He needed a better phrase that captures the essence of warfare for people that think surrender is the best way to win the war on Terror. If his spokesman says he didn't say it, then his spokesman is wrong. He said it many times.Comment

My
is the news will never give us the whole story. One party or another/one governmental department or another will spin the truth into what they want us to think is the truth. Don't look to politicians to give truth or consistency for that matter. They are moved in one direction or another by those padding their campaign account. They all have flip-flopped at one point or another. Yeah, some are worse than others, but they all do it.
Ok, so that was about a quarter's worth. Am I flip-flopping now?

Come on. This is getting silly. Using the strategic patroleum reserve during a war in the middle east, and a cat 4 in the gulf, is a little different than using it during sex with interns.
I'm sure we agree on many things Direct, but we do have different political perspectives, obviously. Kerry has always seemed like an arrogant Jerk to me, regarless of which party he is in. Bush spends like a drunken liberal. I don't approve of many things Bush does, but when it comes to draining the swamp in the middle east, I back what he is doing, and wish he would do more.Comment

I don't live in New Orleans, so Ray Nagin's shenannigans didn't/don't affect me.Yes, unfortunately Bush couldn't take over command from your Mayor and Governor until they relinquish it. You proud of them?

I also don't live below sea level, and did not get water during Camille. My area had no flooding in the entire history of records and being outside the 500 year flood plain people here were not eligible for National Flood Insurance prior to Katrina.
Although I had the means to rebuild so many people around me are still waiting on grants for those who's insurance companies screwed them. The site where you were able to check the status of your grant has removed the link to do so and still has the blurb from last year saying that programs for renters and uninsured will be coming.
Promised money to help communities rebuild has not been delivered, and millions in donations received after the storm are still being held so the government is still screwing up Katrina. I have to travel many miles out of the way to visit neighboring cities because major bridges are still sitting in ruin with no set date for repairs because they are waiting on the funds to be released. Since Bush got on national TV and declared that what was needed would be provided yet it has not happened I surely do land it squarely on his doorstep, although not solely. The only interest the administration currently has in the Gulf Coast is drilling offshore for oil..Comment

Perhaps the money they did receive for repairs were squandered on corrupt politicians in the Big Easy. Just like the money that was sent to secure the levies. The government machine was built a long time before GWB got in office. Google Rocky Mount, Clinton and Fema, and you will see the same complaints from years ago.I don't live in New Orleans, so Ray Nagin's shenannigans didn't/don't affect me.

New Orleans was a separate disaster from the hurricane. Had the levees not failed the Katrina story would have had little to do with them. I'm talking about hundreds of square miles leveled that had nothing to do with failures of government. The government failures started after the storm and continue today. If the Bush administration had spent even a fraction of the time they did rallying against equal rights for homosexuals, preventing stem cell research and trying to convince Americans that winning in Iraq is the only way they are safe instead on making insurance companies accountable and delivering promised relief we wouldn't be having this conversation..Comment

Think about it. We get a republican senate, congress, and president. Do you really think that is the best time to push forward a gay marriage initiative, if you want to get it passed? Why didn't gay people wanna get married under the Clinton administration? Don't you think having the guy in charge on your side would be a better time to do it? These discussions grow tiresome fast, as some of what you say has merit, but there are two sides of each story.Comment
