Would you start a sponsor program? What if it doesnt sell?

Would you start a tgp and just pump it with traffic for a year hoping that at the end you'd have a lot of bookmarkers to keep you at the top?

Would you start a hosting company?

Would you hire a team if college kids to build galleries all day to promote the shit out of sponsors?

It's a good question.. Unfortunately I don't think that any of the options you list is really all that viable..

Sponsor - not really enough cash...

TGP - why bother.

Hosting - See Above.

College Kids - don't know how to market porn.

So, really it's all about expertise. If you've got a shitload of money, you can hire the expertise, but with 50k you almost have to provide it yourself. The cash is secondary, with someone who knows your shit you don't need the captial so much.

here is what i would do with 50 grand...i would put it in the stock market....i'de buy some IWOV and CSCO......for cheap....and in 6 months, they will net you 150%. then, i would take the profit(75k, i think) and put that towards my porn empire...and with the oher 50k, i would reinvest that in the market. shit, this money making shit is too easy!

Good idea... invest 50k, then in June throw a party with some of the profits and make friends with the players. Maybe someone will give you some tips on starting your empire... or just keep throwing parties and charge $20/head to the public to make some cash! hehe

Take My advice and don't do what CF says (lol)...here's why...

Cisco's 'high' over the last 52 weeks...a whopping $44.50...is now only at a staggering $21.00

even if it turned around in one year and you bought at $21 & sold at $44...you're still not getting a 150% return...

Stock market would have been a good choice bout 18 months ago...now...nah...not worth it.

You could 'hire' the right people but you could exceed your capital quickly...I'd probably spend it on schools/books that talk about making money in Porn...or..other business ventures...

actually, when i said 150% return, i was talking about both CSCO and IWOV combined....if you read it again, youll see...
IWOV is my sleeper...along with csco, 150% is very achievable in my opinion...
i think this is the best time to buy stocks right now..the stock market rebounds 6 months before the economy does. i bet you the economy will rebeound in 6 months, and that means the stock market will start its rebound now

i would do for my software development company. better returns in short time provided you know what you are doing. been doin it for 6 years. nothing like it. in the world where there is so much time and mission critical stuff .....make just one guy happy and not only will he send you all his own future business but that of his friends too ... not to metion he'll put your photo on his desk ... hehe

I'd invest most of it in content... content is the ultimate investment -- it makes you money indefinitely... if I am shooting hot babes now -- I can be 100 years old and still collecting $$$ off the pics ;) content is king -- exclusive content=$$$ -- I'd shoot my own shit on a budget but good quality -- then license some quality stuff as filler... then I'd set up a converting flagship paysite to show off my exclusive models -- I wouldn't sell any of my own content unless it sucked ass -- then I'd pay for some really kick ass web design... then I'd feed the sites w/ TGP, paid traffic from friends, and my own sites -- then I'd take the rest of the money -- pay off the loan on my car, pay off my college loan, IRS debt, and CC bills ;) Ok there are some other things I'd do w/ the $50k but that's top secret ;)

Well I got a job offer recently at $50K/year so maybe I can fulfill the above -- but the job starts in Feb and I'm not holding my breath on this yet ;)

Anyway I'm on the lookout for a job at Interext if something lands in my lap... at the last show I had a pretty cool job offered to me but I need something that I can work on from LA. My sites are mostly all scripted so I have plenty of free time to work on something else -- preferably something w/ a salary ;)

Put a nice chunk of change into a hot name and fill the rest of the movie with low priced players. Hit a niche (such as adult satire, Andrew Blake-style artistic or amateur-style Max Hardcore) then market market market. You'd be surprised.

i happened to read this old post when looking for stuff on avs's, pretty funny. just goes to show you to take all advice you get with a salt shaker full, cancer factory told this guy to invest 50k in IWOV and CSCO and 6 months later he would make 150%

although theres 1 whole month to left go, who knows maybe theyll still rebound!
