I see a guy trying to do something here at home . It's not rocket science that the $$$ is going to feel threatened and prop up every muppet in Washington to fight that. If we were sending millions of dollars to afghanistan to give them the freedom of healthcare everyone would be on his nuts if it made a $ ... all this shit has gotten us where we are now. In the hole ... why does everything revolve around turning a profit. Can we just take care of people that are fucked ... like the elderly they toss out onto skid row because they can't afford their medical bills

And I say no one is being thrown on the streets. We have ability to pay county facilities and you know it.

I understand where you are coming from, I talk to alot of hardcore "conservatives" but the fact is health care isn't being "socialized" from what I've read or seen. There will be another option for people.

I was just talking to somebody just like you and he was telling me he didn't like how he had to go to the doctor for a foot problem. Then, after seeing his doctor... He then needed to see specialist after specialist blah blah blah... he told me how the VA was fucked the post office is fucked.

I thought one of the major points he was upset about was just the one being addressed and fixed by this "new idea". I couldn't convince him of anything he was hardcore southern radio whatever his trip was. You couldn't even talk to him. That's why I don't even bother.

I also remember a story of a woman bringing her child into a hospital. No insurance... by the time they shuffled her off to 3 more the kid died. Thats wrong man and anything you can say or do or anything all your friends can come up with doesn't make that a good system ...
