We went to a different dealer and got exactly what we was looking for and then some. We bought a 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT fully loaded. The Cash for Clunkers and Dodge's rebate we got a total of $8,000 in rebates. We ended up walking off the lot with a $20,000 car for $12,500. We traded in our 1999 Ford Explorer Sport we've owned for 7 years and it had 207,000 miles on it. It sounds like we did it just in time too. Seems they have ran out of money for the program as of today.
