i highly doubt any of them even got reprimanded , basically the only person at fault was the first guy who shot. the other 2 cops had every right to shoot assumming he had a gun and was pulling it out to shoot them and the dog who is an officer just like any other officer and if they felt the dog was under threat they are supposed to help defend him, the dog getting killed sucks , but thats what they are there for to get shot instead of a human.hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

Thats what I thought at first but after reviewing the tape again all the other sound syncs just fine. It appears to me that the other officers saw the dog run, tweaked out and fired first (before he threw the flip flop).

In a situation like that where the officers know they will either kill the man, and get possibly shot or killed themselves... does the thought/procedure come into play where they actually DO try to contact this Fonda Brown woman as the man is demanding?
After watching it, I basically just wondered if they even try to contact the person, get them down there at a safe distance with a bullhorn to try to talk the man down?

So one officer let go of the police dog while the other ten or more fired off 81 rounds, I'm guessing the number. How many men does it take to subdue one man?
At no time did the victim show he had a gun, at no time did he aim anything at the police, at no time were the police in any danger.
The police murdered this man and the dog. The reason they did it was because they could do it and get away with it. If they thought they would go to prison for unlawful homicide they would of waited it out.

Maybe my eyes are fucked up but I could swear they shot the guy before he pulled anything out his pocket which he threw to the ground.
They shouldn't have released the dog on a guy they believed to have a gun and had threaten to shot the dog unless the sole purpose was to force a shoot-out.
Don't know why they bothered to send in the dog if they were going to open fire. Just send in the dog and take cover, if they hear a shot then open fire.
If they don't hear a shot then the dog is controling the suspect, so move in.
The sceen after the shooting is far worse than the actual shooting.
We can debate if they needed to shoot, but there's no debate about them dragging ass to get medical attention, or even moving in to make sure he was disarmed. It was like they knew he actually didn't have a gun since they didn't go to the body to make sure the suspect couldn't fire from the ground.
The guy made threats so he got shot; but it also looks like a total fuck up on the part of the cops to have forced the shooting with the dog.Done.Comment

the video sync is off, when the dog is released he drops his bluff and tosses the show, the hand flying out from behind the wall spooked someone and he pulled the trigger and that made an chain reaction for everyone involved.

Ahh STFU. The cops were wrong to turn the dog loose. If the guy had a gun then he would have shot the dog and then the cops have to shoot.
They wanted to shoot so they push the situation to that point.

Precedent...yeah, if a court rules that police should realease a dog under these circumstances then they will do it more often. So people like you, who think this is smart because you only see black, are subjecting yourself to the same procedure in the future.
