I doubt it, By the time I left 99.5 The Fox they had gone country and fired all of us, last I knew (they could have changed in the last 13 years lol) they were "Young Country" 99.5 WYDC, when they were The Fox they went under WDFX.
WVIC had a very short reach, and I don't think they had any other frequencies.
As for 106.7 I can say without question it had nothing to do with any station in Flint.
In fact when I got hired there they were not even a 24 hour station
I talked the owner into staying on (as long as I did the shift for free) and IF and ONLY IF I produced ratings in the next arbitron books, that he then paid me to do the overnights full time.
He agreed, I not only got ratings, but I got the highest ratings in our market, the station went to a 24 hour format and I was fired
I laugh cause NOW and pretty much ever since they fired me back then they honestly NEVER beat any other station to this day
