They have a 60% sale on economy tickets until Friday at midnight, anywhere in Canada. This is in response to their sudden strike recently that stranded a lot of passengers.
They had set a one day 60% sale, but because their website was broken and people couldn't get through on the phone, they announced they were extending it until Friday. You can also buy tickets in person if you wait in line at one of their terminals.
It's just getting swamped is all.
