    Should we host with Choopa?

    Choopa apparently hosts the very illegal tube site RedTube, according to xBiz. Those of you that host with them do you think its right to support a company that supports illegal sites?

      the answer to your second question is kind of pointless, as anyone that is doing something obviously feels what they are doing is ok in their own mind (if you asked a professional armed bank robber if he thinks what he is doing is right, he will probably have some convoluted logic in his mind justifying it as right, just as an out there example)

      as for your thread title, follow your own heart and do what you feel is the right thing to do, does it matter if someone here tells you that you should or shouldn't

              You can get the same pricing (without long term contracts, even) with hosts who don't do business with the thieves of the adult industry, so why bother?

                  I heard they Own redtube and illegal site as well as owning deluxepass a know unscrupulas site as well. As Tidlewave said above why bother with them as there are many other hosts that will give you the same pricing and even better service.

                      To clarify I am not considering hosting with them. I was more posing the question as we (the industry) should we be giving money to companies that clearly participate in illegal content sites?

                          I will be the first to say I host with them and the servers and service have been great.
                          Andy and his team have helped me with anything I needed done. Did I know when I signed up they hosted big tubes? No. Do I have a super fast server and 100mbs of bandwidth cheap, with great support? Yes. I'm this buisness to make money. I think you would be surprised at the people that have host that have big tubes hosted on them. I don't feel I'm supporting anything illegal. I have a company that takes care of my needs so I stick with that service. Choopa is not my only box either. I have boxes all over. A good host is hard to find.

                              My opinion: If they support sites like tube sites that steal other people's content and make money off it and you you support them then you support that tube site.
