Just moved right outside of richmond va from charlotte nc...anyone know of any good cities between here and NY? Doesn't really matter what state but im interested in being roughly 1-2hrs away from NYC. Know anywhere in NJ/CT/Maryland etc... with low crime rates and without outrageous living expenses? I've tried google and got some info but i figured it would be best to hear it straight from someone who lives or has lived in any of those areas.
