Where can I get em for cheap? And is Wacom the end-all brand or...
Price compare online - we picked it up at BestBuy since it's the only retailer in the region that stocks 'em.
I don't have a comparative basis to judge whether it's the 'end-all' brand - but they've been makin' them a lot of years and I've always heard good reviews from peeps.
If you do any sort of graphics-related work, a Wacom tablet will change your life. Get more done faster and more accurately, while saving your wrists for more important work.

I don't use a Wacom tablet, but i use a tabletpc daily for about 40% of my workload..the pen has completely changed everything for me.
Unfortunately, i can only take the work so far on a tablet. I dream of one day having an artist table, where the table itself is one giant screen..and i can sit there with a pen and do all my work. That would rock my world.

Something like this:
I hear ya'...that would rock.
I like the setup they have on Orange County choppers show.
I love my wacom tablet.. I can't stand to use a mouse now on a regular computer. it just feels wrong.
I think Wacom has the Cintiq full screen or something along those lines that is the monitor you can work directly on. Not sure if I would want one. It would be cool, but i think you would be cleaning handprints off of it all the time.
Anyone use a graphics tablet as a complete mouse replacement for day to day, non-graphics stuff? It's been recommended to help with stiffness in my arm and shoulder but it would be nice to hear from someone who uses one that way.

This one came with a mouse included - so I have the choice of not usin' the pen.
But I'll likely use the pen mostly at first...to get accustomed to it.
