The King is most likely correct, he'd have to be gfy's authority on all things war.
It's easy for america to win a war though, no allied force on earth could stand long against the good ol' us of a. I kinda feel sorry for the iraqi military ( the guy with the rusty ak47 riding a starving donkey)
The real objective of war should be to win peace a which is a long way off in iraq and unfortunatley or perhaps fortunatley, Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz & co being less than masters of rhetoric and political ambiguity stumble constantly on this issue. The war for peace has not started yet and won't be resolved for decades. ( my prediction )
It's a shame it has to come to war, innocent men, women and children, trying to live thier lives in a much harder world than practically any american get ripped to bloody shreds, exploded or mushed into many pieces as buildings collapse on them, this effects everyone they know for the rest of their lives and into future generations.
Kids fight each other in the schoolyard. Thugs fight on the streets. In my opinion, mature people resolve problems in less violent ways and with sharper tools.
War is still popular though, it appeals to the dark instincts we've always had. It's like a big game of football where everyone in the country supports the same team, it unites us all and gives that fuzy feeling to many where usually lies just a well of bordem with life's repeating routines.
