Best Smartphone? What do you use?

I am shopping for a new phone and as a web junkie like the rest of you I need something with WiFi, QWERTY keyboard and a camera of some sort.

I also lose or break my phones all the time so I wanna stick under $300.

Any reccomendations? What do you use?

I've got an HTC Touch Diamond that I love and my girl has the Pre.

I'd like an iPhone, but convincing myself to give up a $24 a month plan that has unlimited data and text messaging hasn't been that easy.

I have the HTC Touch Pro and Nokia e71x. Both very different but I like them. It took me a little while for the HTC to grow on me as it feels a little cheaply made.

Also have older Blackjack & Blackberry. Two work horses and very well made.

That made me curious. I just tried it from my G1. Works fine, checked out my clicks for the month and everything loaded right.

It really is a neat phone, I'm glad I got it over the blackberry I was looking at.

Hold off. There are a SLEW of Android phones coming out in the next two months. MUCH better models than the current G1.

I have no problem getting in to CCBill with my WinMo phone. I use Skyfire browser mostly.

ya like i said i thought about getting the My Touch from t-mobile and it looked like a nicer phone than the G1 but like i said i don't care about having the smallest phone with the most gadgets like a iphone. I just want a phone that i can use and do the things i want to do with it when i'm on the go and a full keyboard is one thing i don't want to live without.

If i cared about having the must have "cool" phone i would go with Iphone but I just HATE AT&T and don't want to give up my great service i get with t mobile

Blackberry hands down. and depending on your cell provider get the Bold, 8900 or Tour... The Storm is nice but you'll love the feel of a keypad over a screen. If you want an iphone get an iphone, the storm is a business phone trying to be a toy (iphone) my person opinion the iphone/storm are toys.

I love my Palm Pre and Best Buy is doing a crazy sale on them right now for $99.

Here is a great comparison video where it is pretty much a dead heat with the iphone except this is a brand new phone on the market competing against a third generation phone that has been around for years now. So as fast as the Palm is updating software and fine tuning the phone it will surpass the iphone quite soon I believe.

Wow so many choices.

Iphone is out of question. Its an awesome phone for work and play but I NEED a proper QWERTY keyboard for sure. So far its either the HTC Touch Pro or BlackBerry Curve.....

The LG Dare looks sweet though does it have a slide out keyboard?

It's sick as fuck! Has a tight keyboard as well, its a touchscreen qwerty one just like a normal computer keypad, not one of these keypads like on a phone where you press the same button several times to scroll through the buttons, and the thing about the iphone keypad is that it is very very accurate!!

I use an iPhone and wouldnt use anything else. Ive used a blackberry, G1 and Nokia e65i and iPhone by far has the best options.

Nokia has a great smart phone IMO better than blackberry

I said it before and I'll say it again.

Get an iPhone.

I hated Apple, and still hate their MAC OS. But they totally nailed it with the iPhone.

Go to the shop and compare how the interfaces handle side by side with all of the other clones. Then jailbreak it and enjoy yourself.
