                                                                  A few weeks ago a few friends and I picked all the nfl games on a betting pool up here in Ontario; we won roughly $84 along with over 5,000 other people. Last weekend a lady picked them all right and no one else won. She took home close to $450,000. Yes i'm bitter!

                                                                  Just too add that was on a $5 bet

                                                                          It's like one time when I was at the track.

                                                                          These noobs were there and several longshots were winning with other longshots in the money. The exotic payouts were huge (trifectas paying thousands).

                                                                          Finally, there was a race that was all chalk. The favorites came in and the noobs had the trifecta. They were whooping and hollering. One guy bought beers for everybody to celebrate. I was laughing my ass off listening to them talk about what they were going to do with all their money.


                                                                          The trifect paid about $16.00 and the guy had 1/3 of the ticket. I almost felt sorry for him when I saw the look on his face as the payouts were announced.

                                                                                              I really hope you didn't renew your season tickets, this season will be even more miserable than last year for the Blazers. They are young and made so many changes, they'll be decent in about four years. I went to Vegas to watch the summer league and watched Portland play three times. As bad as the Blazers are going to be, Brandon Roy looks great and should have a shot at rookie of the year cause he's going to play a lot.
