how is that bad advice. if friends recommend someone shouldnt that be enough to offer it out for a recommendation? not to mention the people who i recommend are almost always large players in the industry. its not like im saying going with "YourGonnaGetFrauded, Inc."

give me a break, i surely am not doing anything unethical nor am I doing anything against the rules. im just a very active member of this community. thats all.

Being a "large player" on GFY is shit. Most of your sponsors who talk a big game and get all the GFY love actually have shitty programs that don't convert well.

You're simply regurgitating other peoples posts without any information to back it up. You're recommending a web host because you saw some other people post that they liked it. You're recommending sponsors because you heard someone else on the board said they are good. You have no first hand knowledge of any of the stuff you recommend. It would be like me recommending you buy a Chevy because I saw a commercial for it on TV and it looked good.

If you've never promoted or used the product, you shouldn't be recommending it to people blindly. You simply hurt other webmasters.
