Dudes, cook this for your lady one night she will love it and so will you.
This is my personal recipe and it's one of the best I ever came up with.
Start off with some white wine to sip on. I suggest Rhine or some other
dry white wine. Maybe a zinfandel will do, but stay way from red wine, it's
not for this recipe.
Mustard Pear Chicken
- 2 Chicken breast
- In a bowl MIX:
. 4 table spoons yellow mustard
. 3 table spoons honey (can subtitute brown sugar)
. 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
. 1 teaspoon Marjoram
. 1 teaspoon Mesquite seasoning (subtitute with poltry seasoning or 1 TBLspn red BBQ sauce)
. 2 teaspoon Rosemary Leaves
. 1 teaspoon salt
. Black pepper (load it up for spicy)
. Tabasco (load it up for hot...reccommended 1 tblspn)
- Pour mix into frying pan and add 3-4 cups water
- Stir in pan at medium heat until thin and mixed well
- Cut one pear into small cubes (can substitute apple) add to pan
- add YELLOW onion slices (don't chop into small pieces, medium size better)
(don't use white onions, waste of time and food, red onion OK)
- Now add chicken to mix in pan, spooning sauce over chicken.
- Cover pan and simmer at medium-low heat for 45 minutes.
- Stir occasionally and add more water if needed.
- Avoid scorching of sauce on bottom of pan.
- Allow sauce to "cook down" until kind of thick(little thicker than tomatoe juice)
- Serve over white rice or with my potatoe recipe.
YUM!!!
This recipe explodes in your mouth!
