Cmon... Josheph sucked big time. This is clear to me in got in the team because of pressions, just like quinn beeing to coach when you have the best coach of all times availlable (Scotty Bowman). That team was really badly selected over pressions instead of talent. Patrick Roy, Jose Theodore and Martin Brodeur should have been the 3 goalies. No way Belfour and Josheph shouldnt have been in the team. No way Joshep should be #1... You have no idea the depth of hockey in canada. Like on the street I grew up on for example, there was maybe 40 kids. Out of that, 30 of us actually played organized hockey for years, and ALL 40 kids got out 3 or 4 nights a week and played street hockey, even in the summertime. When I wasn't playing real hockey or street hockey I was likey found in my basement taking shots at a net with targets in the corners. And just about every other kid I knew was doing the same thing. As far as I know, that still holds true today with today's kids.
As I said, we'll see. Team Canada has some adjustments to make and it may take a few games. I can't wait for the Canada vs Czek republic game, I always like that matchup. And i wish the Swedes well in their upcoming games, as over the years they've always been another of my favorite teams in the Olympics and world championships.
