                    I thought this topic was about discussing or Bush is a "laughing fuck". Why are most of you talking about world war 2 ????? Do you need to defend your president with such an argument? Don't understand me wrong the help Europe got from the Canadians, Americans etc. was a very good job but this is not an argument for this thread. Or do we also need to talk about all the Indians which were killed in the past centuries? I don't think so.

                                                    either way, I find it disrespectful to argue about which country had the most people killed during the wars. Alot of people died on both sides so we would have the right to say what we want. Boasting about having 50k people die in the war? Im at loss of words for that type of ignorance, how can you just throw out a number like that and think your country or continent is better than any other?

                                                    all you fucks should take a step back and maybe think that the euros and americans fought together to stop germany.. and they did it so we would have the right to sit here and say what we wanted. Show some respect.

                                                                                                                                I find it funny and a bit of a complement that our European friends (or some of them - thread starter) have the luxury to criticize the government "of the people" that has in the past 80 years spent untold billions of dollars, and hundreds of thousands of lives - ending two world wars, and a cold war that all started as "European" problems.

                                                                                                                                You have been allowed this Luxury by no other people than the people (government) of the United States. I doubt you really want to debate this issue with me, but I'm game if you are.

                                                                                                                                The problem that us "Ugly Americans" have with criticizing our government or our president in the manner in which you did is that - even though we often do not agree with or even like our elected officials or political parties - we have for over 210 years maintained a government, that truly is "of the people" we survived our own civil war - and end the end we are stronger for it. We might be younger than your country but our Government and the protections that have allowed us to thrive is currently the oldest such government on this planet.

                                                                                                                                Some of my country men are correct in saying, we are successful because we work harder, we do. We even outwork our Japanese buddies as hard as they is to believe.

                                                                                                                                They are also correct in saying that we don't think about, worry about, or for the most part even care what is happing in Europe most of the time.

                                                                                                                                However if one of our friends, perhaps your country were to be in trouble, and need help - militarily, economically, disaster relief, etc. Who are they going to ask? Who do you know will be there? The EU, sure as long as it is ?easy? and ?safe? ? if there is time for debate . . . however when the shit really hits the fan.

                                                                                                                                The people of and therefore the Government of the United State of America will be there to protect your freedom, your liberty, and your economic lifelines - thus giving your the ability to throw cheap shots our "Dumb President"

Millions of British, French (ack), and other allied countries died to rid Europe of Fascism. Thus protecting the world.

We really do belive in our Government as a whole, even though you will not always see it, or belive it.

                                                                                                                                                                            They are also correct in saying that we don't think about, worry about, or for the most part even care what is happing in Europe most of the time.

                                                                                                                                                                            However if one of our friends, perhaps your country were to be in trouble, and need help - militarily, economically, disaster relief, etc. Who are they going to ask? Who do you know will be there? The EU, sure as long as it is ?easy? and ?safe? ? if there is time for debate . . . however when the shit really hits the fan.

                                                                                                                                                                            The people of and therefore the Government of the United State of America will be there to protect your freedom, your liberty, and your economic lifelines - thus giving your the ability to throw cheap shots our "Dumb President"

Fucking only reason he got his job is because of connections--the same connections that got him most of the things he ever "accomplished" in his life--Yale, Harvard MBA, oilman, etc.

                                                                                                                                                                                        We flew the daylight missions over Germany

                                                                                                                                                                                        We took the toughest beaches on D day

                                                                                                                                                                                        We beat Japan by ourselves as Labret so eloquently stated

                                                                                                                                                                                        We supplied the Russians with Billions of dollars of food, supplies, and equipment. Oh same with the British ? . And to be very rude and frank, - who else was there ;-) I think when we entered the war Germany had all of Europe, was 25miles from Moscow, and the Desert Fox was hanging out in Africa with his bros.

                                                                                                                                                                                        I have great respect for the what the USSR did vs Germany in WW2 but remember they were totally in bed with Hitler until the "smart" guy attacked Russia. England truly did stand alone.

                                                                                                                                                                                        If not for the RAF and dip shit German decisions we would have to take back England before beating Germany.
