Just finished watching Revenge of the Nerds

After more than 15 years without watching it.

I remember truly loving this movie when I was a kid. But today when I watched I was thinking to myself throughout the entire movie "I can't believe I used to find this funny" lol.

What a piece of crap that was!

I haven't watched those movies for a long ass time, but I remember them being pretty good.

I liked Real Genius better tho

I remember the big 80s high tech musical number at the end being totally bad ass and made the nerds seem so cool... they totally pwn3d the competition. Saw it recently and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooo lame. But I still enjoyed the movie for nostalgia sake.

There are certain movies that you can't step on.. Revenge of the nerds being one of them. For many, it was a rite of passage.. and their first glance at the naked female form. Same with Porkys. Remember, these movies paved the way for all the gratuitous nudity out there. and like most older movies.. they never look like they are trying too hard for the joke.. or to put in the extra nude scene. If I'm channel surfing, and happen to see this on.. I will always stop and watch, no matter how many times Ive seen it, its just one of those movies.

My girlfriend hadn't seen it before so we picked it up from the 2 for $10 wal-mart bin .. it had been at least 8 years since I've seen it but it was a favorite when I was younger. Definitely picked up on a lot more jokes then what I remembered it having, I loved it. Especially when they made it so obvious what they were talking about in some of the jokes, but when I was a kid I never picked up on it. Anyone notice Booger's shirt "Give me head until I'm dead?"

Exactly, is the whole nostalgia thing that makes it cool. It reminds me of when I was a kid and shit. But the movie itself is a piece of crap. There are movies from the 80s that are much better than this.
