On this day (Friday) of Feb 15th 1963...

...@ 12:05 pm, a little CD Smith was born. The doctor was just about to sit down to lunch when he was paged to the delivery room, prompting me to believe that I was a royal pain in the ass from the getgo. However, others beleive that I may have done the doctor a favor by rescuing him from a bland mushy hospital cafeteria meal. I wonder to this day if he was brown-bagging it at the time.

At any rate, at the age of 39 I can now be officially described as "pushing 40"

Thanks everyone. And yes, we got together a bunch of us and moved the hill back. Me and Minte and a few other old timers. The hill is now at 50.

You know, this is a good comment. I"m actually pretty proud of the fact that I attained my goal of retiring from my former job before I turned 40. I beat that by nearly 3 years, largely thanks to the opportunity that this business affords us all.

A while back, someone here ridiculed me about the fact that I'm almost 40 and I'm STILL submitting galleries, like as if submitting galleries is for kids or something. That comment also made it sound like the internet has been around forever, and it hasn't. Fact is, If there had been an internet back when I was 20, and had I taken the road that I'm currently on, I would likely be in the "God-like" tax bracket right now.

Yes, even guys in their mid-30's and 40's can jump on this thing and change their life around financially, because this is one media where age simply doesn't matter (unless your mommy still cuts your meat for you).

Thanks for the kind wishes all. Best of luck in all of our businesses in the future. Now I'll go try to enjoy what's left of my thirties. heh heh.
