    People who buy video-post top spots

    Just wondering, is there anybody who still makes profit from it?

    I was checking prices and Alexa and i noticed when GTS came up with 2k for a top 10 spot the site got twice as much traffic. Now with half the traffic the price is still at 2k.

    Since i kinda now what numbers of visitors you get from those listings as someone i know has a top spot and i had partner passes in the past it seems near impossible to make that 2k back, let alone making profit.

    Can someone prove me wrong? I'm really curious.

              The funny thing is the submit pass which gets you listed near the bottom was WELL worth the money. 1 to 2 sales a day. It seems way better value than a 2k top spot. Then again this was 6 months ago or so. Dunno how it is now.

                                                      It used to be 700 to 750K about 1 year ago if I recall correct. They are also skimming more then they used to. The reason for the drop is very simple, people know they can download full videos on forums or blogs so that explains his traffic drop plus the fact that they post the same stuff from the same sponsors over and over again so people get bored.

                                                                                                      If people are still making profit from the top spots, they will most likely keep quiet because they dont want competition and dont want people to copy their galleries/sponsors. If people are losing money with top spots, they will most likely keep quiet because they dont want to give away info which they had to learn through experience.

In some instances (pay sites, hitting reward tiers, etc) the answer would be yes, but in most situations people don't continuously spend money on something that doesn't work.
