    Being on GFY is like surfing on dial up....it has to be the slowest forum around

    wtf is up with the speed of GFY? aren't they hosted at Jupiter? not a very good example of what Jupiter can do....LOL

    anyone have any idea why this vbulletin forum is so slow, but some that are 10x it's size and posts are so much faster?

              to be honest I think its a pretty quick forum. but i dunno why that is, maybe its coz i post from england. runs pretty smoothly. search button is shot to shit though.

                                                                      Honestly - I think I found the problem....try it for yourselves.

                                                                      It's the quicksearch - launch a quicksearch, then try and load GFY in another window....it hangs and hangs and hangs. When your search is done, try loading again - bing, it's done.

                                                                      This has nothing to do with a local connection, since launching a quicksearch from a remote connection, then testing gfy on a local one...same result.
