Just bought some traffic and...

I have no traffic from it

June 17th paid for it and traffic was apparantly sent and I had a login showing hits... however, my CPanel did not register any hits from the url given to me to track.

Back and forth, back and forth again... still no traffic.

I'm pissed and about ready to consider myself ripped off but is there a way for Cpanel to not register hits?

I think i'll just stick with juicy from now on....

check the raw server access log files.
just DL the whole file and search the txtfile for the domain that should be sending traffic.

if its not there, they aint sending you traffic

Be careful who you buy from. I've been ripped of by fraudulent companies I found on Google. You should only deal with traffic companies that have been around for a long time and have a rep on the boards.

Not sure what your talking about... I wrote a program in CPanel to track by URL...

problem is no hits from the supplied URL... which is the name of the company dot com that was suppose to send traffic. It is not a programming issue either because no hits from that url show up at all in cpanel

I did respond... my answer to your question was about the cam upsells. The response was my conversions have been better then ever (2+ fold) offering the free cam shows and they are staying.

The dvdstore way at the bottom I would pull in a second... makes very little... I just like the images they add to the site

I didn't use that feature because my site tracks free signups so wrote a program which does that.

By the way... I purchased from:

no traffic except a 2 day period when I was insisting on my money back I think I got about 2k from a trojan infected site...

all i wanted was traffic... you offered to do the banners and i think i said "sure man... that would be awesome".

I've bought traffic in the past and never problems like this... let alone no traffic at all (except when I insisted and you sent that garbage)

Buyer purchased traffc on the 17th June.
Package comprised of 50 k of traffic, banner ads, text links etc.
As part of the package, we asked if you would like some new banners designed to which you reply yes and they were done within 2 days, you stated you was happy with them and they are now sitting on your affiliate promo page.

We then discuss the package for a couple of days and what was to be included as you mentioned that you wanted to revise some of the package to which I was absolutely fine with because I wanted you to be happy.

I then have the traffic started on the 23rd June (the stats login for the 50 k of clicked was sent to you) and follow that up with a selection of the other ads that we set-up also.

You then state that you cannot see the traffic coming in so I tried to explain to you how the script works and you still state you cannot find the referrals.

I then run the exact same clicked traffic through my geo script but not through the stats tracking script (your login) and you now state that you see the traffic ok and received some free email sign-ups with it.

I deliver this for a few days and assure you that we will get a new traffic script set-up especially for you as soon as posible but to compensate any delay, the traffic that you are seeing now will be free of charge (so will not count towards the 50 k that you paid for). We didn`t really need to set-up a new traffic script atall because this script has been used for 1,000`s of customers over the years.

At this stage, mmcfadden becomes quite abusive. I state again that I`m sorry that his tracking does not capture the referrals however the URL`s that he is now seeing in his server stats is the EXACT same traffic that was sent when the campaign originally started.

So we are now up to the last few days, we have a new traffic script that we purely set-up for the buyer so to meet with his requirements and I added a further complimentary 40,000 clicks onto the package (so 90,000 added, 50,000 paid for).
Unfortunately the buyer continues to be difficult and becomes abusive telling me to fuck-off and states he will "post his experience"

Very unreasonable guy.

Did you read the statement you quoted yourself? June 17th gave you $500 for traffic and you didn't... lots of excuses... you didn't send traffic.

Also ALOT of my time went into corresponding with you as to why you weren't sending traffic...

I track free signups... I know how many I get with certain traffic. I did it with juicy and it was flawless...

1:10 on most traffic up to 1:100 on tube traffic...

Maybe you can give sordid some money to help you out?
