There was one in Toronto this past weekend. I know that there is also some sort of zombie collective in Montreal that gathers in places for similar events. They once "attacked" people who gather at Mont Royal to re-enact medieval battles.Comment

It's a bunch of goths, punks and skids high on mushrooms, I havent witnessed it but I had a conversation about it with a group of freaks on the ferry once who were on the way. They get VERY excited about this event and do it every year.Comment

There is a similar thing happening in a couple of days (Oct 28th near Commercial Drive) called Parade of the Lost Souls - http://www.publicdreams.org/event_de...h=10&year=2006
I was at this parade a few years back and it was amazing. They had set up spooky graveyard scenes with musicians playing classical music and all sorts of wild stuff. The parade ended in a big park and there was a few thousand people enjoying live bands...Comment
