we have a sears outlet here where you can get great appliances that are scratch and dent really cheap. for most if the scratches are on the side, you'll never see the damage anyway.
i think my boyfriend has been swapping his craftsman tape measure for 10 years now.
they're pretty stingy with the other tools around here.
