    SEO strategy: smaller/deeper pages vs front page

    If you only have the time/resources to pick one, which would you pick:

    A FEW Deep/internal Links from HEAVY HITTER (high Page rank, etc) "authority" sites (maybe an older article where your new link is placed)

    VERSUS

    MANY Front page link from smaller/newer sites with lower Page rank

    Which would you pick and why?

                                      Less suspicious if the small site links are spaced out more. Also, setting them up to link to deep links/subpages would look more "natural" What do you think?

                                          thats true, this's the reason why some directories also started to use that method.

                                          but SE's becoming even smarter day by day, so it dependss how do You go with it.
