yes you do, you get around 60 days or something to get it back after it has expired from you

im not sure if thats the exact time frame...but something around there

but this domain has already gone through the process, and is going up for grabs tomorrow

im not entirely sure this is correct but i believe the registrar can hold it up for a month and the previous owner gets first dibs for a certain amount of that time

Well there is more than 1 Bin Laden - a lot of his family lived in the States, but moved back to Saudi. Maybe someone in the family owned the domain, but could not renew it??
