I recently got my hands on some some exclusive content to market via IPOD Apps & Mobile Paysite / Mobile Anything...

Anyone care to point me in some direction of how to go about this...

I am curious what resources are out there to take some content to market.... App builders for ipods?

mobile traffic?

how to build or prep content for ipod / mobile market photo and video...

Try 4 media dvd ripper if your content is on DVD. The software has built in profiles for encoding windows mobile, iphone, ipod, and blackberry videos. They have both a mac and windows version. If your content isn't on DVD, then you can use their converter program instead. It works the same way, just without the DVD source. It will use any format source file.

As for apps, itunes won't allow adult apps yet. Billing, use a mobile billing company like gxbill.com or passwordbyphone.com in addition to your credit card payment.

Brand new HD sites with exclusive content. Get content while it's still fresh!!

I wouldn't build an iDevice app at the moment, the situation with adult related stuff is a bit controversial in the app store at the moment what with Apple pulling down some adult apps.

Best way is just to build iDevice ready sites which shouldn't be too hard.

We're working on a multi platform mobile app, but with the Apple situation we have to wait and see what happens. Having the app is much better than just having the wapsite, neverthelessw a wapsite is a good start.

I can't comment on billing or specific phone apps but in regards to the pay site and video encoding aspects our CMS is something you may want to look at.

The system has built-in video transcoding that's fully automated and will convert a source video (avi, mpg, wmv, mov, etc.) into multiple formats including mobile compatible formats like mp4 and m4v.

Currently the default tour and members area our system comes with is viewable on mobile devices that use a browser e.g. iPhone/Palm, etc. and we'll be announcing a completely new mobile version in the next week or so that will provide a mobile content focused members area designed specifically for mobile devices.
