It's a lot harder to find studio sessions outside of the hip hop genre (U2, and Butch Vig all I could find) but I'm sure if you were able to find them you would see something similar.......an iMac, Mac Pro, or Macbook Pro controlling the final product.
And one visit to Apple's Final Cut Studio's website would render your graphics argument moot.
