    How to: Prevent other sites from hotlinking your images

    Find it annoying that other sites are hotlinking your images and using your bandwidth?

    Here's an easy tutorial I found on how to prevent it.

      It's really weird I have started to get a ton of these weird ass asian domains/sites hotlinking images and started burning 100-200 gigs a day easy. Never had to bother with this before but in the last year or so it has really become an issue. The domains are always some odd shit like http://sdjfkasjdfa.9991sf.com

      Anyone else seeing this stuff?

          .htaccess ... dissallow all to hotlink and enter only those who u want to be able to... haven't had a problem with this setting yet....

                                  yes, been happening with us too but natnet were on it like a hawk for me and shut off the hundreds of IPs within about 15 minutes
