    Firefox 2.0: Its Coming Out Tuesday!

    OK, all of you IE fuckheads, you've had your fun. Now we're gonna have ours. Microsoft released its little flop of a browser update, now FF is gonna relase its whopper. I cant fucking wait, I will be on pins and needles until it comes out.

    Firefox 2.0 debuts Tuesday

    Firefox 2.0, the foremost rival to Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer browser, is set for release Tuesday afternoon, said its producer, the not-for-profit Mozilla Corp.

    The free 5-megabyte browser, available in 39 languages for Windows, Mac and Linux computers, will be downloadable from getfirefox.com, the Mountain View, Calif., company said.

    The new release of the two-year-old product includes new features but strives to retain its simplicity of design and operation, Mike Schroepfer, Mozilla's vice president of engineering, said earlier this week.

          downloaded the latest RC today, so far its working out pretty good...nothing amazing but it seems quicker on my mac...

                  I get an erection when I go to the colo center and plug my laptop into a port next to the port that my server is normally plugged into and surf the web right off the core router, so why cant I get a little wood over my web browser?

                      I really love the spell checking of webform text, that is a great feature. Means I dont have to rely on the crappy spell checker in IMP anymore, nor on the various webboards I post on (or like his one dosent even have one) and pasting stuff out to an external app to spell check it is a pain and sucks.

                                  ..spyware at the speed of light! I dunno. Going to the colo to me means that either I'm installing hardware, or I failed somewhere because I'm not sitting at my desk rather than hanging out with the NOC monkeys.

                                          Of course, we go to colo to fix things. But that dosent mean that I dont play for a while (and borrow a few GBs of bandwidth from my neighboring customers) and have some fun.
