I don't get why so many programs offer the embedable clips and then instead of allowing the webmaster to put his affiliate id in and link directly to the site ask affiliates to promise they will have banners around linking to the site... Makes no sense whatsoever to me.

If you licence your own player you can configure it to do this but then I guess that defeats the object of the sponsor making the clips embeddable instead of just hosting them.

In fact if the player is based on the JW player I'm sure you can just add the "displayclick" parameter to the embed code to get it to do this.

Our embedded flash videos are clickable with the affiliate code in place. I agree that it's pretty much a must have feature.

The problem is that a lot of people just export our FLVs and put them into their systems that way. Without using our embed code/player, the videos can't be clicked which sucks.

We already have clickable clips, however most of the affiliate prefer to use the hosted FLVs with no links at all.

Viki, one thing about the RealSexCash clips is, if you resize them to 640x480 the "click here to enter" link ends up too close to the play button which can be annoying.
