Cool deal. We designed the campaign manager to allow you to put all of your ducks in a row before firing up the engine. You can add specific blogs and groups of feeds to the campaigns before activating rewrite rules and relink rules (as many as you'd like), or headers/footers (ads) and sourcelink patterns (giving credit to your sources). They're hot-swappable, too, if you haven't tried that. You can change them "on the fly" (or deactivate them, saving them for later), and your changes will be in effect for the very next group of postings.
My sig (currently) has 5 screenshots. One of them (the 4th, I believe) is the campaign manager, if people are curious.Comment

I must say edge, that looks to be coming along REALLY nicely man
congrats on everything
the standalone is something I have been waiting for, I might just have to pick up a copy and ditch RSS2BLOG when it gets released.....rss2blog has all but stopped development, it blows, they were doing great for a while, until they released v4, then they just started slackingComment

Thanks man, much appreciated. It's been a lot of work (and a lot of all-nighters with about 10 cups of coffee -- haha), but it's been well worth it for the product we've got in beta right now.
Glad to hear that you've had it on your mind. Believe me when I say I get at LEAST 1-3 ICQ's every day asking about it: how much is it, when can they buy it, etc. Seems that quite a few people are anticipating it highly as well.the standalone is something I have been waiting for, I might just have to pick up a copy and ditch RSS2BLOG when it gets released.....rss2blog has all but stopped development, it blows, they were doing great for a while, until they released v4, then they just started slacking
As far as the RSS2blog stuff, I really can't comment much. I've said in the past that I think it has its uses, and have recommended it on ICQ and on GFY to people who I thought could have used it. Previously, that functionality was that Autoblogger pulled IN, and RSS2blog posted OUT. Now, however, the ABP Standalone product posts OUT, as well as does all of the nifty relink, rewrite, header/footer, sourcelink editor, etc. With all of the personal and professional attacks from the RSS2blog community lately, I can't imagine I'll be doing much more than ignoring them in the future. I can't believe, frankly, that they haven't already come to this thread and started trashing people/products. It's kind of sad.
Glad to hear you're thinking of switching -- although I'm planning on being the bigger man and not waving Autoblogger Pro Standalone in anyone's face to get them to switch. People see the ridiculous attacks, sniping, and "screw you" policy, and they can decide for themselves. We'll just continue to put out quality software at a good price and say "fuck the haters."

to be honest, that was my biggest issue with ABP, aside from the lack of domains, I still like that r2b is unlimited, but ABP definitely has much more advanced features, and now the fact that you are about to launch a version that posts out, well, shit man, you will have a pure winner on your handsComment

i am a lucky beta tester too... i have to say that chio and new owner dom never cease to amaze me...
you people will shit when its released to public...
i am beta testing on a brand new site. i will post results of where i stand pr wise in a month....Comment

The current plan for Autoblogger Pro Standalone 1.0 is .. *drumroll* .. unlimited domains. And only a $100 upgrade from Autoblogger Pro 1.0, 2.0, 2.5, etc. (Wordpress versions). Lifetime upgrades of the Standalone are free, of course, etc, etc.Comment

Yeah, "people will shit themselves" seems to be the prevailing opinion of the beta testers so far. Thanks for the kind words, they're appreciated.
Awesome. I'll add the standard "your mileage may vary" disclaimer, of course. Just because YOU have good results with it doesn't guarantee that someone else will, etc, etc, etc, I like pie.
The strategy we talked about just now on ICQ is what made that site a PR6 with nothing but an image on it, no meta, etc.

Did you add the mass import of relink keywords?
It kind of blows to do them manually if you have a lot. Some kind of import feature would be nice. These guys steal your signups: Read here.

I'm not 100% sure we're talking about the same thing. Are you talking about the Standalone version now? What type of import, exactly, would you like? Something to import your old ones from a ABP 2.x (Wordpress) installation? It's all MySQL driven, so you can certainly just dump into the database "raw" if you'd like.Comment
-
No, I'm talking about the current live version.
I hope the new version has an import feature so I can just copy/paste a list of keywords and URL's instead of manually inserting them one by one. These guys steal your signups: Read here.

Say I have 50 keywords on several blogs that all need these links I'd have to setup these rules for each blog?
Or does the new version have a centralized rule admin that will effect all blogs? These guys steal your signups: Read here.

It's a central admin that works independently of sites (blogs). This one:

That's one of the great things about the Standalone version. You set up your rules, then you can apply them to any blog you'd like! So, yes, it has what you're asking for. Blogsa re posted to using "campaigns" -- so a campaign can contain (for example), 5 blogs, 10 feeds, and a specific set of relink/rewrite rules. You can change them "on the fly" (in the middle of a campaign), at any time. This one:

It's all interchangable, like Lego blocks.Comment

Beta is currently full, but thanks for your inquiry! We have a good number of people who are submitting excellent feedback and working with us to squash and bugs out there. We're in close contact with our testers, and are working towards a retail release very quickly.Comment

The beta program has officially ended for Autoblogger Pro Standalone 1.0. We are in a "code freeze" at the present time, to prepare the product for its retail release.
We anticipate this release to be on November 1st, which is just a few days.
It's very exciting for us, and as you've told us many times in ICQ, for you guys as well!
The screenshots for the new product can be seen in my current signature.
Users of the (current) Autoblogger Pro product (the one that ships with WordPress) will have a window of time that they can purchase the new Autoblogger Pro Standalone for a special price.Comment

Autobloggerpro is an awesome product and with everyone useing a free version of wordpress, you know there are going to be exploits, so a standalone version would be very much neededCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about thatComment
