Well, I've shagged most of my exes after the break up, but it is probably some immature way of proving to myself I am still able or in control. The two exes i got back together with didn't work out... If you had a bad breakup you normally find to much has been said and done and then there is what you and her have been up to in the mean time....

If it is just to catch up over coffe then I don't see why not... If she was in your life for that long there is no need to exclude her from your life now. Just probably best to be honest and up front abot everything.

I've stayed in pretty good touch with all of my exes. Some of my best friends in fact are former gfs. I hooked up with them for a reason, well... a couple to say the least... and at least one factor with any gf has always been someone I can get along with well on some level. No reason to lose a great confidant because you are'nt seeing each other anymore. And clearing any bad air, receiving or more importantly sometimes giving, apologies can be a very positive experience.

my last ex and i broke up on a bad note. i've never been tempted to call her as i know that would be a bad idea. i do miss the sex though.

recently however i am very tempted to call her mum. throughout the 2 years of seeing her i was always more attracted to mummy dearest. i have fantasized about her mum alot and have even fantasized having a 3some with the ex and mum and even a 3some with mummy and her sister in law (the ex's uncle's wife).
