I wasn't making it a racial thing. I think all acts of violence deserve some form of mandatory sentence, especially when it involves male abuse against women.
Dogs are put down for biting people, even though they may have acted on instinct and not understood what they were doing. I don't advocate the same for people, but I surely feel they need some time away from civil society to reflect on their misdeeds and hopefully get some counseling.
I like Chris Brown's music and think he is a very creative and talented person - I hope he takes this as a lesson and makes a better person of himself.
