    I am about to install VISTA RC1...Wish me luck...

    Burned it to DVD , got the license key from Microsoft now I am ready to roll...

    If i dont post for a day or so that means shit went wrong.

      I personally would do that on an entirely seperate hard drive so if things do go wrong you have the original hdd as a backup.

                  I've had the RC running for about 2 weeks now, and works fine for me. The only thing that doesn't work is Unified Stats which I switched back over to my XP Pro Laptop... Oh yeah, that and Daemon...

                      yeah i was installing it on laptop i use for travelling and such... ran into a issue ...ill take that as a sign....ill wait till its shipped and thn wait for sp1

                          do NOT install it on a laptop

                          laptops have too many drivers that might not be Vista compatible yet

                          instead, put it on a desktop, make sure to run the advisor first though!

                          good luck. I plan on installing it on my desktop any day now
