Brings back memories of a time when i was around 5-6 years old. My brother is a year older. Anyway, him and I were waiting in line to buy ice cream at Thrifty's (anyone remember Thrifty's ice cream? lol)
Anyway...my mom gave us $5. So my brother and i are in line and this black guy is behind us. So as we're standing on our toes and sticking our noses up to the glass to get a peek and that magical ice cream, the black guy behind us swiped the five right out of my brothers hand ran for the exit. My mom freaked.
Right away a guy at the exit clothes-lined the black guy while his buddy started beating his face to a pulp. Ofcourse my brother and i are in tears (cause our ice cream money is gone) but also because it was the first time we've ever witness real violence. We really didn't understand what was going on other then the black guy was bleeding out like crazy.
Then both guys came over with our $5 bill and handed it back to my brother and told him to put in his pocket. The other guy gave the ice cream man some money and told him to use that for our order. The two guys left quickly, the black guy is bleeding on the ground, and my brother and I were happy as clam with our ice cream.
What's funny about the story, is that the only we learned from that situation is that violence works! So after my brother beat up a few kids in the neighborhood over trivial shit, it must have taken my parents weeks after the fact to re-program us.
