Yes hollywood uses 30 second high impact trailers. Actually most trailers are about a minute which is fine. I said 30 second is too short. I never said anything about 5 mins or 10 mins etc which i think is too long. 1 to 3 min clips work better, and im happy with those, but very few have them. Its either to short or way too long. I understand the art the "tease". The tease leads to the sale. I dont want to give away sales. Thanks.

haha EXACTLY! I think it's dumb to say give me 5+ mins of video or I won't promote you.. I don't make flv's to use at all right now but i have video galleries and guess what it's 4 clips that are each 12-15 seconds long and tease the fuck out of the surfers. I would never give out the pop shot as it's called in a promo video and if you do then why would a surfer want to join when they have already seen the movie..Comment

I agree with this. But it also depends on what your selling to who. Im fine with video galleries with 4 clip etc. I dont promote them much anymore but i think they are great. Can anyone point to where i said anything about 5+ mins of video? I should have clarified. It should read please give better quality teaser clips. Im of the opinion that a good teaser clip is actually 45 sec to 1 min long, i.e. bangbros, which sells at under 1.:400 for me. I prefer to have some that are on to 1 to 3 mins but no longer and im not asking for the "money shot". This post should be mostly directed at sponsors who offer legal tube clips that are 30 secs and do a shitty job of teasing the surfer.

Who said show more material. Make better teaser content. Hollywood trailers are have always been the same length. But have you noticed great the trailers are getting nowadays? If your gonna do 30 secs it better wow surfer or hes gone. Same goes for 1 min or 5 mins. Would i use 5 min clips maybe. But i currently dont. I make sales, maybe not like some of you guys but i get a better understanding of this shit as i go. I just want better more appealing none cookie cutter shit.
