    Give me some advice on .... galleries

    I'm about to start compiling content for more galleries for StudioHD. This time I'm going to make some PICTURE galleries.

    What's the best number of pictures to show on a picture gallery nowadays?
    I know the standard used to be 20, then it came down to 16.

    What's the optimal number so that submitters and TGP owners alike will be happy?

      15 or 16 pics is good.

      also is this a ccbill only program? or will it be a part of the teenrevenue program?

              are the picture galleries doing any good these days? I haven't tried that stuff for a long time now. I seriously doubt getting good ratios though...

                      StudioHD is a hi-def site so the obvious promo tool are clips and hosted movie galleries, but affiliates still promote with pic galleries too.

                          As to the galleries, if you are doing content zips for affiliates, having 20 per zip is a nice touch, as that gives them a little leeway in choice. For fgh's, 15-16 is fine.

                                      Ratios are going down for sure, but picture galleries do great. I submit 3 pic and 2 movie galleries a day, and I am happy with the results BW costs are significantly higher for movie galleries while CTR or conversion is almost the same in most cases.

                                                  16 is good lets you have a good layout you can space your add text just right and not have to much distraction. If you use more pics they tend to look to much the same and they get bored and dont click.

                                                                      You know, every time we put out something video based I can assure you I will get emails and icqs from webmasters complaining it isn't picture based. They want picture galleries, picture blog posts, etc.

                                                                      I would assume if people are asking for it then they are building pages with pictures.
