I don't think it's fake, my guess is since because more people in the world speak English instead of Farsi and they want the message to be global.

The signs are there for the benefit of the cameras. They know that their Farsi speaking leaders aren't reading them.

Farsi or English, doesnt matter, what's going on over there is scary! Knowing many people who have family and friends over there, I feel for them as they grow more and more anxious for their safety and well-being as each day passes.
