A teenage girl is suing a tattoo artist for £8,500 after she allegedly asked him for three stars on her face - but ended up with 56.

Also, I don't have any ink on my face, but I did get a tattoo behind my ear, and you could hear the buzz of the machine inside your skull. Even with pills and booze there's no way on earth you could "sleep" through that. She would have had to have been comatose. I side with the shop, just no way.

In most tattoo parlors, you have to pay first...

...Obviously because of the fact that once a tattoo is on, the tattooed person could bail without paying.

Also, even though the design is simple, most tattoo artists outline their work and let you look at how the layout fits BEFORE they begin their work.

She needs to cease her shenanigans. Does she think people are that stupid?

This is also a good example of why most tattoo artists won't do hands, face or neck unless a person already has a substantial amount of ink. My friend Kevin won't do faces or hands on anyone just as a rule.

It is a comitment, and in most cases I think you do wind up with the tattoo you deserve.
