Here's something I have found hat's generally true. Guys getting laid never refer to girls as whores, even if they are promiscuous. Guys not getting laid and thinking the girls are giving it away else where use words like slut, whore and skank to cover their short comings.

I would never call a girl who had sex with me names. And I doubt if any guys successful in the dating game would.
