              Hey dude, does the Free DirectAdmin control panel mean I can add domains, sub domains, get people ftp access, enable features like php and all that?

                    Yeah, its like cPanel (if you know how that one works).

                    You can do it all from within the control panel,

                    Add accounts
                    Add domains
                    Sub domains
                    FTP accounts

                    PHP is already enabled by default, it is compiled into Apache (http server), etc...
