I have a pioneer DVR 111D. Haven't bought a new burner in a long time. This one works just fine.

One more vote for Plextor - I used to mass copy CDs and DVDs and Plextor was the best drive by far I've ever used. However since I moved to notebook + iMac I no longer use any special dvd burner [for home use most drives are OK]
