yeah its a little loud, but just crank up the volume on your TV

make sure you have the extra hard drive plugged in for it so things load alot faster

and play me online on call of duty 2, my live id is "madawgz"

doesn't help much with tactical games...I can imagine I wouldn't notice it while playing football or soccer, because they are pretty loud

i love my xbox360... last system i bought was a gamecube and i was very disappointed

its a shame cuz i love the GC controllers tho

the gamecube sucked balls, the only two good systems from Nintendo is the original NES and the 64

now we will see what the Wii does...

I own a 360 and I love it. To me, it's not that loud, perhaps it just happens that you got one that's a little louder than the rest.

the bottom line is that the pc still destroys the best 360 or any next gen console can offer.

the fps games are horrible on 360. Fear, Quake, Prey, they all sucked on the 360 compared to pc version

the only reason i have one is due to useability eg. the controller

They are not overly loud, if you really find it annoying use a headset and put it in a wooden cabinet (make sure it has enough space so it doesn't overheat).

The thing is that for first person shooters, the ONLY way to play them is on a PC. HOWEVER, when it comes to sports games, you've GOTTA have a console to enjoy them

You can buy a game controller for your pc that is similar to the xbox controller...Then it will take you some time to tweak it to each individual game but after you do, it's all the same. I did it when I bought F.E.A.R.
