I go through 5-6 bottles of wine a week, plus maybe a bottle of rum every other week, and a few higher end beers... That's not counting drinking at bars adn clubs, which I do 2-3 nights a week.

I just buy wines and it varies. Anywhere from $20 to $100 a bottle (usually closer to the low end). I'm a cheap drunk ;)

It's not the quantity, it's the quality.
I spend ~3-4k euros /year on wine. It all goes in the cave.
We drink a bottle of wine each night and some good stuff on the weekend. It all comes from downstairs, so I can't say how much per week. If I were to pick out a good bottle, it could be worth a couple hundred, it could be worth a few pennies. I have no idea, but I know when to drink it!
