RIP DINO
The blue wall of silence is already going up.
Isn't it comforting to know that the New York Police Department hires recovering drug addicts?
The unofficial story is that the shooter, his sister who is a NY cop and her mother who is a NY cop, allegedly moved the body after the shooting, then waited 6 hours to call the police. And the shooter is out on $10,000 bail and was only charged with criminal possesion of a gun.

A Massapequa man was arraigned yesterday on weapons charges in connection with the shooting death of an East Meadow man with whom he had been feuding.
Paul Broccoli, 26, was arraigned in First District Court in Nassau yesterday and was released after posting $10,000 bail.
The shooting appeared to be the result of a long-standing dispute between Broccoli and the victim, Dino Messana, 37. But police would not comment on Broccoli's role in the shooting, which took place in front of his house.
At the same time, the victim's brother, Richie Messana, said yesterday his family questioned the charge against Broccoli and feared the case would be "swept under the rug" because Paul Broccoli's sister, who was the fiancee of the Dino Messana, is a New York City police officer.
Police said Paul Broccoli was arrested in connection with the Friday shooting. But they would not give details or explain why he was charged only with felony criminal possession of a weapon.
A Nassau police spokeswoman said she knew nothing about Valerie Broccoli's job status. "We're basically noting that this shooting happened, and that Broccoli was arrested," Nassau police spokeswoman Jean DeLuca said, referring other questions to the Nassau district attorney's office.
District attorney spokesman Eric Phillips acknowledged that Paul Broccoli was released on bail but did not have details.
Broccoli's sister, Valerie, is a patrol officer with the New York City Police Department in the 105th Precinct in Queens Village.
While the NYPD would not confirm her job status, an officer at the 105th Precinct said she was a patrol officer there. Neither Paul nor Valerie Broccoli could be reached for comment.
According to Nassau police, they responded to a call about gunshots fired at 4:35 p.m. Friday on Old Sunrise Highway and found Messana with multiple gunshot wounds.
Richie Messana said Nassau police told him his brother was unarmed when he was killed, but that Paul Broccoli told police the victim threatened him with a pipe.
Richie Messana said his brother met Valerie Broccoli about four years ago while both were in recovery from drug addiction.
Messana said the couple planned to be married in May. But Dino Messana and Paul Broccoli began to quarrel about Paul Broccoli's treatment of his sister.
"Dino said [Paul Broccoli] was talking nasty to his sister all the time, and my brother didn't like him talking to his fiancee that way," said the victim's sister, Lisa Denaro.
"It's been going on a while, but it's been particularly intense the last few days," he said. "[Dino] was calling me saying, 'Hey, this guy is saying he wants to fight. He's calling me out.'"
