The screen size is an issue with me as well. I can read it fine, it just gives me a headache.
But people who grew up staring at small screens probably don't care.
I bet it won't be long before they can put a little DLP chip inside a phone and you can project onto a wall a big 30 inch display.
I remember reading something about a virtual keyboard. The phone tracks your fingers on a desk and it's just like you are typing. If those two things can come together, A phone will probably be all you need.
