    Sales on Mobile??

    I've been picking up lots of searches from Mobile Devices, or phones, or I dunno what...

    Do people actually join sites via their cell phones?

    I'm asking because blogs and feeds and such are written to fit down to handheld devices, ok, but should a join page be warpable to fit those iPhones and Nokias out there?

          Yes they do. It's very common practice in a few European countries, as with Japan, and some of Latin America.

                  I'm sure that's what people are looking for. They're not looking to have a mobile version of their sites... how could I have been so dumb? They're looking for mobile dialers.

                  When I surf, lord knows I LOVE to be automatically redirected to a site I didn't even mean to visit. That's just such a great idea. I think it will work fantastically.

                                  With more and more new generation phones it's well worth to be ready.

                                  Btw. we have a couple agreements with carriers in Europe, namely in Italy, Israel and UK, distributing our live feeds and video in mobile format, and the revenues are on decline lately.

                                  Why would anyone pay the prices the carriers charge (as a matter of fact they take from you as a producer at least 50 pct. already) if you can go off portal with your modern internet ready phone?

                                  There is definitely a growing market for this.

                                                              Correct you are. The joinpage is critical on mobile. In fact, the best mobile conversions typicially come from landing page joins, something that is blasphemy in the adult Web world. The click behavior of mobile users is different and you sell to them differently.
