I just had a 512mb Ultra II Sandisk CF card die, I contacted them to get it replaced (after all they have a 'lifetime limited warranty') and two weeks later they have yet to replace it. They keep making me go through ridiculous hoops... just recently they made me photograph/scan in the card + box, and after that they wanted the fucking receipt scanned (thank god I'm very anal when it comes to receipts). Sandisk makes quality cards, I can't say the same for their support staff.

I don't know about other shooters, but I don't want 12+ gigs on my cards. I'd rather spread it out over 2gig cards in the event something happens.

extreme III 2 gigs cards are $76 bucks after rebate and
extreme III 1 gig are 45 bucks after rebate

$ 629.95 for 12GB...
2GB for 76USD...6 cards(=12gb) = 456USD...
So he just said he doesn't need ONE card of 12GB, but prefer 6 2gb cards...
